I recommend you stick to the lighter shades of pink. Some corals are ok. Whatever you do don't use anything in the plums or dark reds. You didn't say but especially if you're blonde these "stick out" too much and look clowinish.

I'm really pale, and I look good in dark pinks. I'd recommend staying away from reds of any shade because I think it generally makes light-skinned people look clownish. Some people can pull it off...but I sure know I can't.

If you're looking for a lipstick for yourself, I recommend Garden Botanika's sample lipsticks. They're four for eight dollars with no shipping: http://www.gardenbotanika.com/jump.jsp?itemID=2289&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainCat=35&iSubCat=155&iProductID=2289. Hope this helped!

I'm light skinned and I usually stick with sheer colors. I think dark colors make light skinned people look bad. I'd try a sheer, light pink or coral.

I usually use pink, orange, or red lipgloss, which doesn't overwhelm my face since it's only gloss and is pretty sheer. I don't wear lipstick often, but if I do I usually wear a light pink or orange.

Just make sure you stay away from frosted lipsticks. They are the worst invention ever.

im an the light side. i use plum lipliner and blend it with a pinkish lip sheen, I cant go lighter than that because then i will look ghostly or pale. thats because my hair is black. So i need some color so i wont look washed out

For a lighter haired person then it looks good to go lighter with the lip shades

that depends on your age, when & where you are going. Daytime, casual would be very different than the nighttime dramatic look. a cool person would look good in pinks & mauves, & warm would look good in autumn, rusty colors. And if you have very big eyes & full lips, i think you could pull off dark lipstick anytime you wanted. But dark is tricky, so experiment, maybe take pics of yourself, & check them out.

I look best in mauve or a rusty, terra cotta kind of color. There are so many different shades and names. It also depends on your natural lip color. Some women can get away with a pale lip color. I look like a ghost. My natural color is deep. You may have to experiment.

if you light skin you should use a red or dark brown color for a fierce, glamour look or pale pinks for a more flirty, girly look. refer to some mags and celebs. seventeen is good magizine to look at for makeup tips.
