Books...There are books that even the most intelligent ppol could not write w/o a bus, that is,w/o consulting ppol, things, libraries, manuscripts, etc.

Old books ,as you well know, are books of the world's youth, and new books are fruits of its age.

Books and Reading....I am always for getting a boy forward in his learning, for that is sure good.I would let him at first read any Engllish book w/c happens to engage his attention:because you have done a great deal, when you have brought him to have entertainment from a book. He'll get better books afterwards.

Ehh, a quote? Ehh, how about "Call me Ishmael" or

". . . . I’m standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff—I mean if they’re running and they don’t look where they’re going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That’s all I’d do all day. I’d just be the catcher in the rye and all."

Ehh, I particularly like the Catcher in the Rye.
