I take pretty much the same amount of time getting ready regardless of where I'm going. It ranges from 1 and a half to two hours. Mostly because I shower everyday and my hair takes a lot of work.

If I lay out my things the night before, I can pull it together in 20 minutes with my hair in braids, but I may need an extra 15 minutes if my hair is loose since it would need more coaxing into place, etc.
The trick is to do certain things the night before eg shaving/depilation, washing hair, ironing, polishing shoes, packing purse, touching up your manicure.
The biggest time consumer seems to be the hair for most of us,so I will gladly sit down a few hours every eight to twelve weeks to get braids in, if that will help shave precious hours off my morning routine. Just do what you can to maximise your time and look hot after all is said and done.

Just for myself? (No feeding the dogs, letting them out, letting them in, doing a load of dishes and some laundry...)
15 minutes for work (7 minutes to shower, dry off, dress and out the door...I have my clothes ready the night before)
15 minutes for a night out unless I have to dress up for it...then it's 30...the extra 15 minutes is to change my mind on what to wear three times.
School? When I'm going it's right after work, so no time.

[For school] About 45 minutes to an hour. For the most part, it's because I move slowly and if I didn't set out clothes the night before, it takes longer because I'm forever changing until I find something I like.
But, it varies.

It depends on how much time I have. Time crunch work: 3 minutes or less. This is foundation, one coat of mascara, brow gel, lipstick. I have rosacea, so no blush is needed. Extra time: 10 minutes or less. This is foundation, undereye concealer, eyeshadow on lid, brow and a little extra highlighter on the brow bone, eyeliner. Two coats of mascara, peach or a little bit of pink blush (depends on what I'm wearing), brow gel and lipstick. For evening, it's about 10 minutes and I add highlight to my cheekbones, just above the blush.
It takes less than five minutes for hair and five minutes to get dressed.

The older I get, the longer it takes. LOL. Seriously, shower and all, about 1 hour.
