As hard as he tried, he could never get up the sides ... and then a giant guy would come along, turn on the shower, point the shower head at him and swirl it around until poor Spidey goes down the drain.
In fact I think thats the plot line for Spiderman IV

Well, all those other answers are imaginative, but the truth of the matter is (DON'T ask me how I know!) MJ tells me that whenever Peter takes a shower, he always secures himself with a webline leading outside the bathroom first.

He would have to wait until either someone built him a spider ladder for him to climb or he would have to go down the plug hole. I think the plug hole would be favourite, I can't stand Toby Mcguire.
