I had regular friends from school and I still tried to date my teacher Miss Sabine. It was never about picking one or the other.

But to answer your question, don't dump your friendship with the teacher. The term teacher's pet was created before you were born.

Sure I would. But I really don't think that is the proper premise to your question, whatever it is you are trying to ask. (If you don't have friends, I highly doubt that it has anything to do with you being the "teachers pet". Look elsewhere. Look within yourself. Then maybe you will find the answer).

ummmmmmmmmm..........yeah. the only reason you would have friends and a career is because of the teacher. you would have a career because of the teacher. you would have friends because maybe people realized that being teachers pet might actually be cool. i mean you would never get in trouble. they might think that you can be cool and will hang out with you.

Two years of sacrifice is worth a lifetime of happiness. :)

It's just too bad such guarantees don't exist

of course I would. Who cares what other people think? After high school, you'll probably never see most of them again anyway.
