Browns. tans, the right kind of blue, army green, light green. It is best to use a lighter shade on top of the darker shade - meaning above (higher on the eyelid) and use either a brown or black mascara. Brown might be better in the daytime - more casual and black is better for a nighttime look. Match the color eyeliner to the mascara or you can add a dash of color liner to the top of your eyelid as close as possible to the lash line. I just read that in this months' Glamour. I would use to same eyeliner color to highlight as one of the shadow colors but the magazine recommends not coordinating at all and just using one random color to line the top lid - so you can't see it when your eyes are open but so it shows color when you close your eyes or blink. In general though the colors above are the the best ones for green eyes. Really though you can mix, match and use any color with green - even rose, pink.. anything really. Just mix it up and have fun.

I have green eyes and they are refective of what color shirt I am wearing. Wearing green makes my eyes more blue and if I wear black it is the truest green and it accentuates the red hair. I wear black mascara, that is all it takes and it's an eye catcher. You are a blonde, I would go with blues~shadow and liner with black mascara, maybe burgandy lip color.

I suggest coloring your hair any red, auburn, or a dark reddish brown (mahogany) color will bring out the green in your hazel eyes. I too, have hazel eyes and i have dark red hair and it really brings out the green in my eyes. As far as makeup goes, i use black eyeliner to outline the outer part of my eye and then apply an eye shadow called ''Green Smoke'' and it's from MAC , it consist of light green, gold, and a touch of brown. But if you don't want to buy that color look for warm colors , like gold , green , or light browns. You should really stick with the opposite color of reds, for instance, gold, green, navy blue, and browns. Hope this helps.

It sounds crazy, but I had a friend with green eyes who used purple eye-shadow and it looked gorgeous! But browns and neutrals will rock it as well.
