reach for toys..or grab things? what age?

Most babies begin reaching for things around five months or so..but keep in mind all babies are different, so it could be sooner.

mine started to reach for toys and actualy grab them at about 3 and a half months, but every baby is different.

soon as a baby realizes that they want something, they will grab it. i think it will start at 3 months. babies grab anything thats in sight. lets say if you pick up a baby and you have on glasses, it doesnt matter how old the child is, the will probably reach for them or grab them

There is no defined time but by 5 1/2 months my boys did...3 months they can reach out and touch but usually with a fist and great concentration.

They reach and grab for thing from birth. Things being you, your finger, your hair, your nipples.
Around 3 months they will grab and hold onto something like a rattle.

By baby was almost 2 months old and she reaches her arms out for me to pick her up, but i work with her everyday and it does make a difference with my son who is now 6 it took him a while because i didn't work with him as much, i was working at the time. she will reach for things and pick them up, she could hold her bottle before she was amonth old, the best thing to do is take time everyday and use one thing over and over start by putting it in her hands and moving her arm show her that she can control it, then let her try do it over and over and they catch on fast

Like "things" as in toys, like probably 9 months, as soon as they sit or crawl. Maybe in the depths of 1. Yeah, I have alittle neighbor only two, moves everything in my garage! lol!

man, it's been a while.. but I think a newborn will kind of 'grab for mother's finger.. ' stuff like that. Babies are pretty kool, huh? lol

All babies are different, and depends if they are premies. Mine started at 3-4 months.
