Ok I'm looking for websites that allow you to post and/or post jobs for field/research assistants for scientific research. I've been through several and I'm out of ideas. You're suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Try the gov't labs in your field, or major universities, or the organizations. For example, if you field is astronomy, the American Astronomical Society has a job register and an internship listing on it's website, and NOAO, NSO, NRAO, and the CfA have job listings on their sites as well. All else fails? Ask your college advisor.

The best location is a internship fair offered either by your college/university and often they offer nice handouts to attendees. Have you tried the college's career office. If you are a biology major, Disney and Sea World offer fabulous opportunities for science internships. The federal government also offers a lot of internship opportunities, too. Good luck!
