He is retiring. I wish he wasn`t! He is about 80 years old. Do you wish he stayed on the show?

I wish he wasn't either. I want to cry... Now some young person who isn't fun will be the host now...Ugh.

All good things must come to an end. Mr. Barker included! I was in the studio audience about 4 years ago he was having health problems then & didin't look well. I'm old enough to remember him from Truth or Consequences. He did very well for himself in his television career but, now it's time for him to retire and rest. No one lives forever....

I think he needs to go ahead and retire. The man is 83 years old. He has been doing the show since 1972!!! If he feels like doing something else, then by all means let the man do what ever it is that He wants to!!!

Keep in mind, I'm entitled to my opinion, I think he's way over due for retiring. He's boring, old and wrinkled. The girls have to look beautiful, stay slim or get fired, and yet that old geezer could look like a prune and act rude yet get paid the big buck.

He has gotten so he can't hear the prices. He says a lot of wrong numbers and has to be corrected. It is good to go out on top. I hope they get an unknown to replace him. I may start watching it more.

He is 83 and after 35 years, I think deserves to live the rest of his life on his own terms. Yes, I will miss him.

well he was on the show for a looong time. the price is right won't be the same without him. just like it wasn't the same without that announcer guy that passed away.

I dont like him and I think he is a jerk~I dont want him to die but I wish they would get someone else.
