HECK YES! I am 19 and saving myself until marriage and I think it is going to be soooooooooooooooooo worth it. I mean, can you think of a better gift a wife can give her husband on their wedding night (her virginity)? The gift of never being touched by another man. I don't think I will ever regret my decision. So many of my friends had sex young thinking they were in love and ended up regretting it. However, a man who is willing to wait until you are married- now that's love. You know for sure he isn't with you for sex or anything like that.

Really pays off? How? Personally, I didn't stay a virgin until marriage & neither did my wife -don't think we've been hurt by that and can't imagine how it would have somehow been better if we had waited until getting married. I actually think it was a good thing that we had some experience prior to being married. If someone wants to wait, that their decision -but I'm not about to recommend that route for everybody.

It all depends on the individuals, truly.
A sad story about saving your virginity for marriage. I knew a girl who did this. She got divorced two weeks after she was married. Her husband was cheating on her right after the honeymoon and was only interested in marrying her because that was the only way he could pop her cherry.

It only pays off if you find and marry someone who is also a virgin, that way, it's guarenteed you won't catch any STD's.
But you may run into a situation where you both get married, and don't connect well at all in bed. Now your married with someone your not sexually compadible with. And you can try to force it to work, but if your not naturally compadible, your simply not compadible.

Hell no! You don't want to suck on your wedding night, do you? If you can have a connection emotional but not sexually then that marriage is not going to work. I rather get the milk before buying the cow, don't want to get a bad cow!

I definitely believe so......I'm.....well, never mind. Anyway, the bible plainly tells us not to fornicate, which is having sex before marriage. I wouldn't want my husband-to-be, to be a "used up, every girl know's him" type of guy. I really respect ANYONE who's chosen to keep themselves clean for their future mate. At least you won't have to worry if they've got a disease and pass it to you. That's selfish.

no cause then on your honeymoon when they go to make love they find out how good or bad they are, or if the body parts are what they expected, which will make sex hard to do later. and will put a strain on the whole marriage

I see nothing wrong with that, more power to you, because it's going to take alot of will power, but if you believe in sex after marriage, you'll have no problem waiting.

I think that if some one in this day and age can acually achieve this that it is a good thing. Your body is a gift and should be treated like one. Young people are to quick to make this life changing decsion.
