this would be the place to start for all indigenous creatures to any land here on earth. There is the Iceman a recent find in the Italian Alps, we based many of our modern day accuracies upon, like the real timing of the bronze ages etc. Also there is a film "Instinct", Anthony Hopkins, Cuba Gooding Jr. which in one scene Hopkins explains and draws the migratory patterns of our species from 10 thousand years ago. Basically we are all immigrants to this planet for we were not made here and scientists discoverd that along time ago but just released that news on PBS 4 years ago when the president gave then 789 million dollars to find out where is our origin in this galaxy or otherwise. The meteors on earth have alot to do with the formation of humans. However if you mean the conquering and land ownerships, well it has always been the majority rules, and to the victor goes the spoils as in the American Native of this country, who were defeated for their land rights. All and all it is who is the strongest for they will survive, kind of like rats and roaches, and we know they will be around forever. Basically I guess they are the indiginous creature everywhere.

While going back into history, who owns what land?

Meanwhile, you only have to go back to the beginning of the US government to make your determination. In the context of immigration into the United States of America, it all starts with those who lived or were born into the original 13 colonies. After that anyone who moves here is, literally, an immigrant. You don't have to go any farther back than that. That is the context of the discussion.

If the Native Americans are not immigrants, then who came across that land bridge that is now covered by the Bering Strait and the Bering Sea?

American Indians or Native Americans. They were here when the white men came.

Actually Early Americans are immigrants....they robbed their land and took the land of the Native Americans from them...so technically we are the immigrants. Americans killed many Natives and were greedy for their land.

Go back far enough in time, and everybody's an immigrant - unless you are talking about southern Africa, where human beings came from originally.

Technically, the only non immigrants would be humans who indigenously populated a region historically; i.e. african people since it can be proven that the human race originated in the african continent.
