Do you mean:
(8 + sqrt(28)) / 2?

1) [8 + sqrt(4)sqrt(7)] / 2
= 4 + sqrt(7)

2) sqrt(7) * (9 * sqrt(5) - 3 * sqrt(7) )
= 9 * sqrt(5) * sqrt(7) - 3 * sqrt(7) * sqrt(7)
= 9 * sqrt(35) - 3 * 7
= 9 * sqrt(35) - 21
= 3 ( 3 sqrt(35) - 7 )

1. 8 + √7

because (√28) / 2 = √(7*4) / 2 = (2√7)/2 = √7

2. √7(9√5 - 3√7) = 9√35 - 3√7√7 = 9√35 - 21
