If you tell itunes to download to the ipod and have the option set to replace all, the new library (with no songs) will be the only thing left in there. That will make the ipod empty.

In some cases you will lose it because the administrator is different; however, there is a software out there that allow you to use what is already on the ipod & even to take songs off.

They are erased, so i recommend you to charge it with an electronic charger cause it will shure erase them boy.

PS. If you bought it with songs..... why do you want to connect it???
