Change by Blind Melon;
Hurt by Johnny Cash (not country-ish)
Porcelain (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Those are three beautiful slow, sad songs. If you're looking for depression, these will help you.

first thing that comes to my mind is "trouble" by cat stevens, then "tears in heaven" by eric clapton, "bother" by stone sour, "an affair to remember" from the movie of the same name, but can be performed by anyone with a good voice. oh and last but CERTAINLY not least, "broken" by seether. hope this helped ya!

'bell bottom blues'-Eric Clapton-the whole song is beautiful, but it has the best love line in a song as far as I'm concerned which is-and I quote-
"if I could choose a place to die, it would be in your arms"
