I have a portrait of myself by Robert Lenkkiewicz, which has been sitting in my Dads attic, I want to get it cleaned up professionaly and reframed to take back to Asia which is more Humid and the paper and pencil I know will absob the water any recomendations about who to take it to, I am in the Cardiff area at the moment but going up to Central London Monday

Oooh, did my earlier enthusiasm get your juices flowing??

I would consult a gallery too, or look in the yellow pages for specialist cleaning services. If it's on paper it might be tricky.

You could also look at bbc.co.uk/antiques. I there's some help on there!

Contact your local art museum or art gallery. Their preservation department does it for a living. They may also be able to recommend a preservationist to take it to.

slap a coat of ronseal quick drying varnish on it.....to protect from humidity.
clean first, with cif, and wire wool.
again, to protect from humidity, you could creosote the frame.

no idea but thats a superb pic - so little to it but an impressive likeness.
