Instead of using a portion of your name use something fun, like squirley or pipsi
generally a friend will give you a nickname, and you are stuck with kaykay

Ha. I'm Sarah so their is no nick name for that. Kayla...hmmm. That's a hard one. Maybe you should do something that will create you a nickname. Like this kid eats banana's every day so we call him Banana. Well, that is a lame nickname, but I sorta proved the point.

What about Alyak (read Alex)? It is your name spelt backwords, and it sounds cool. Otherwise, just come up with something fun sounding on a whim! How about Bubbles? I don't think anyone could dislike a Bubbles! Good luck, and have fun with it! It is just a nickname!

do you have a middle name? you can make a nickname out of that one or if you have a name that people don't normally call you, that will work to. you could also do something that will make your friends call you something else. like of you are reallly good at something, they might call you whatver you're good at instead of kayla. you could also ask people to call you by your last name. my friend calls her other friend flanagan because that's his last name. everybody thinks that this is really cool. good luck

It's usually best to ask your friends or family for nickname suggestions since they know which names would fit you better. A nickname that might be perfect for one person would just seem really odd for another person.

Nikki. when people ask "Why is your name "nikki" when your name is Kayla? Your reply can be, because "nikki" is short for: nickname.... get it? nick/nikki. Killer. Sometimes I'm so damn smart I just have to slap myself. good luck.

well, how bout a name that reflects your personality, not your name? don't be afraid to change your name according to your interests and personality...
our daughter's name is natasha but we called her pookie for a long time, our other daughter's name is allyson but we call her daisy (her middle name)
we had a friend in high school who had the run-of-the-mill name of jon, we still call him fanin....add more details about YOU, that would help, good luck : )
