Yes. My brothers cat went after my daughter. When I got in his way he attacked me. He went for my head then I got my right arm in between us. Blood was everywhere. I've got scars in my head, by my left eye, and all over my right arm from that damn thing. Cats are so evil!!

I was attacked by a cat. All I really remember was water and the cat went crazy and there was a lot of scratching and blood. My blood. and then I cried. I was like 7. And another time my cat bit me so hard I started bleeding. I don't have very good luck with cats...

Yes and how! Before my cat Bob, who by the way is on the top of the back of the chair behind me, was altered whenever he would get outside he would turn into a different cat...a wild mean cat and when I would try to catch him he would hiss and snarl at me. One time in particular he got out of my front door and I tried to get him. He latched onto my arm and scratched the heck out of it. I flung him away but that was not the bad part. He got real mad and I tried to move away but he got my leg before I could and he scratched and bit me thought my thick jeans. I screamed bloody murder and the neighbors from across the street came to see what they could do and I just said leave him alone because I did not them to wind up like me!
I wound up having to go to the doctor and take antibiotics for 10 days because the bite became infected.
Since he has been fixed he has not tried to do that again and is a different cat...

*has traumatic flashback* YES.... *sigh*
I used to have singing lessons from this crazy Bulgarian opera singer woman. And she had the cat to match.
As soon as mum would pull up outside her house, it was already coming down her driveway staring at me intensely. It would come up to the car door, start pacing and rub up against the car door before I got out...
And then when I did get out (before trying to run screaming down the side alley of her house to get to the singing studio) it would come after me and bite my legs.
It also used to bite my mum's legs during lessons. My teacher let it get away with murder before shooshing it out of the room. I reckon she trained it that way. I have never been cruel to cats so I don't know what it had against me!

When I was a kid we had a cat who would jump out and attack you (and he wasn't playing!!) I have been told since then that it was a vitamin deficiency that some cats have.

Yes! I rubbed my vet's cat and was viciously attacked. He had hold of me with his teeth and front claws. I would never harm an animal but at that time I felt like stomping him.

My hubbie was. It was a wild tabby cat we had been feeding on our back porch. It left a puncture wound in his foot. We had to call animal control and the emergency room. Needless to say, we don't feed that cat anymore.

Only my own cat. I thought I was being nice, and gave the cat a toy filled with catnip, and he became crazy and mean. The toy was soon disposed of.

Yes, I was trying to get him away from my dog and the damn thing bit me in the skin between the index finger and the thumbs. Talk about painful; it also turned into a big swollen sore. It probably had poisonous teeth.

Yeah, this big, black, cat snuck up to me quiet like and pounced on me, liked to scared the bejeeesus out of me. Then I turn around and cuffed my friend Jack in the cheek for scaring me half to death. A man shouldn't sneak up on someone in the dark like that!
