All of the sudden about 50 Internet Explorers keep popping up all at once and it messes my computer up. What is going on and how do I fix it?

Sounds like spyware - get yourself adaware or similar for free and clean your computer.

Install the following and scan your drive in Safe Mode with these:
Set your WIndows Explorer settings first to SHOW ALL INVISIBLE SYSTEM FILES.
Reboot to Safe Mode.
Use ATF Cleaner.

You have a virus/bug. You need to download a free antivirus and see if it will get rid of it. Either that, or restore the computer. Try the antivirus first.

try shutting down your pc wait about 30 seconds. start it back up, go to control panel or directly to system restore and select a date that your computer was not doing this crazy junk, restore to that date and see what you get. If that does not fix you up. then go back to Qand A. someone will help you!

Sounds like a virus... You might want to try running an antivirus program on your computer.

Your question is not comprehensive enough. What version of IE are you using and when was the last time you upgraded? When did the problem start?

you probably lost patience because it was not coming fast enough, and clicked and clicked again. The only thing is to delete 49 of them and wait patiently the next time.

that's a virus. it's a really simple command prompt thing. I think you just need to open command prompt and open the virus so you can change it, then delete it. talk to a computer fixer guy.... Best answer please?
