It is difficult to get the level of surrealism without having to experience some heavy drugs, that's what I was told.

No, but i feel sorry for thier children. they'd probably end up with simular names. gaga, ligsy and pripsy or something. geez, they'd end up on drugs with names like that.

Sounds like something out of the tabloids; I also heard years ago that they were homosexual, which would supposedly explain the carrying of the handbag, and the inverted triangle on the top of the male character's head; how you tell what gender a Teletubby is, is more than I can figure.
The baby's face in the sun just weirds me out, for some reason.

i think one of the actors who played a teletubbie admitted to a past drug addiction, but is now clean. the programme is meant for under 3's - its not meant to be surreal, just silly enough to appeal to them

It was invented by some old dear in her 50's and she seems pretty drug free to me whenever I see her being interviewed.

Frankly.. who cares who does what drugs. Some of the best music ever was made under the influence of one drugs or another. Usually by bands that got crap the moment they gave them up... which says a lot for drugs if you ask me.

No of course not!!!

But who thought of the names?!?.......
Tinky Winky - Dipsy - La La - Poh;-}

I won't and don't want to do drugs, but there are plenty of peeps in all walks of life that do....

Just look at all successfull people out there that do drugs, especially in the music industry that are idolised by impressionable teens.......I'm sure that toddlers won't be bothered if the makers smoke weed, just as long as they're entertained....

Personally I never gave it a thought as to if the makers of my children's favourite telly programms did/use drugs, as at that age they don't need to know what drugs are and the harm they can do.....;o)

Almost certainly! You'd have to be on mind bending drugs to concoct such lunacy. Crikey to make up a character like 'Tubby Custard' a hoover which sucks up custard - Wot's that all about?

Of course not. PBS would never let a television program designed for toddlers be aired if they knew it was created by two addicts. And if your question was a joke, then "ha ha" I'm sure some idiots got a good laugh out of that.

most likely... the teletubbies have stupid names, dont even talk properly, and the whole set looks a bit trippy... that says it all really...
