Honestly, it is disrespectful the way some people answer our questions. I know they need to get points but it is scary the way people behave nowadays, a lack of consideration towards other people. Some don't even take their time to read the question up to the end and provide idiot, stupid questions. NO wonder there is so much BS together. But I must congratulate the good answers. I am glad there are still some smart and intelligent people out there.

yahoo answers is adictive, In a good sense, the way they set up the point distribution. It drives everyone crazy to get points. That is why many people just answer with stupid answers to get 2 points. That is not a verry good answer because if you just waste a little more time writing up a good answer then you will probably get 10 points which is a much higher and helps move closer to getting to a new level
maybe someday people will learn.

I always try to give serious/truthful answers but to be honest is the witty/fabricated ones that get you best answers.
Where do you come from? You phrased that question in a really strange way. Grammatically it should read:
'why do some people here seem to be so idiotic when it comes to answering questions?'

I wish I could answer this question for you, but I cannot. I do not know why people are so inconsiderate these days. Seems to be happening everywhere a person looks. I would assume that just because someone can hide behind a computer that they believe they can do whatever they want. Just goes to show you how stupid some people really are.

I think alot of it has to do with what the person on the other side is actually hearing what the other person was saying. In other words..you can say something, and it can take on a few different meanings to other people. Alot of that comes in to the answers to i would dthink..what you consider to be a idiot answer could be a great answer to someone else.

I agree with you completely that some answers are stupid - but just like some people don't take the time to read the question the whole way through - some people don't take the time to make sure their grammar/spelling is correct and well, that's pretty ridiculous too. (such as "so idiot" - no offense but it's pretty simple to read your question and/or answer and make sure everything makes sense)

I agree with you. Even though sometimes I just go through questions to get points, I do try to give a decent answer. If I don't have one, I usually move on to another question!
It seems like some of the questions are wacky too. But, it's fun....almost addictive! My housework suffers!

it takes a lot to undue the teachings of do it right and answer properly but some have reach that and beond. it is not just for the points they do it it is striking out and being able to say hey i like doing something that is not right and have fun doing it. sometimes the dumb idiot answers rock better than the good ones. get a sense of humour and learn to use it. some are in bad taste but it makes the one that are in good taste taste all the better. it's not like we really are getting paid. ask a cool question and see what you get. it's like fishin you never know when your going to get a good one

First things first.. You can not be idiot. Someone can be IDIOTIC.. so please be careful when insulting others by calling them idiots, because you might just make yourself sound like one.
And yes, a lot of people on here are stupid and dumb. They're probably also 14 years old and have nothing better to do.

I think most of the people on here with the stupid answers are just trying to get points or they think it's funny. If I had to guess I would say that in their real life they aren't that dumb. Just on the computer.
