First, you should have iTunes installed. If you don't, go to the Apple site and get it. Then, when you have iTunes open, insert the CD into your disk drive (iTunes cannot port protected music from Windows Media Player to iTunes). Something on iTunes should come up and ask you what to do, or you have to find a way to rip the CD, I dont remember which happens, its been a while since I ripped one last. iTunes will then do some kind of compression or conversion or something, which is fine. After that, you should be good to go.

You have to import the CD onto iTunes (put it in your drive and it should show up on the left side toolbar in iTunes, and automatically add itself to your music collection aka automatically upload.) Then you just drag and drop the songs into your iPod (has to be connected via USB to your computer as well.) IM me if you need more help.
If that's not enough, apple.com might have some help for you.

put in your cd you want to transfer, into your computer.
then wait for it to load
depending oon what version of itunes you have it will ask you if you want to insert songs from your cd to your library.
If it dosen't, while itunes is open, there should be an icon on the side that has a cd on it.
right click and it should say upload or somthin like that.
