Shaving that area is a very silly 1990s fad. The hair is there to protect your sensitive parts, and it's not good to remove it. You'll also most likely get skin irritation unless you have skin like a rhinoceros. It's your choice, and it's only hair, so it will grow back, but I'd advise most strongly against it. What if you slip and cut something?!

I wouldn't suggest shaving more than your bikini area until you start having sex but I mean that's for you to decide. There is a reason we have hair there! You know how we have eye lashes to protect our eyes because they're a very sensitive part of the body. Well the same kinda goes for your vagina. It's very sensitive and the hair is there for your protection. Whatever you decide to do isn't really a big deal it just depends on how it makes you feel!!!!

As it was already pointed out, there are no rules, do as you please. But if you have sensitive skin, take precautions against rasor burn, because it's MISERABLE down there. Use a new, high quality blade (they even sell special ones online), and moisturize immediately afterward, something like a baby oil.
I will trim anything, but if a man insisted I shave that would be the end of him!

Are you supposed to shave your legs? Your armpits? Your mustache?
Like the examples above, it's totally a personal choice, based on your preference (and maybe the preference of your lover, if you are trying to please him).
Just watch out for razor-burn!

It's entirely up to you!
If you feel cleaner, then go for it.
If it would make you uncomfortable, don't.
There are other reasons for either shaving it or not, but I'd rather not get into those, haha.

You can if you want to.
You're not SUPPOSED to or NOT supposed to. It's a personal preference.

It's a personal choice, I think it is gross. Women are supposed to have hair there.
