ok season 1: they get stranded on the island, explore it and whatever. nothing else great about it.
season 2: they find the "hatch" the underground fallout shelter like place. the other half of the plane crash survivors are found. the "others" start attacking and kidnapping people. thats about it for those two seasons

You could easily end up writing a novel about the first two seasons! Rent the first two seasons and check out the websites. There are some that have been created by the writers to keep fans up to date and there was a summer game that gave even more clues. Too much to explain!

I would suggest that you rent or buy the DVD's. There is so much involved that it would take forever to explain it.
