they have fun working with computers, that is a challenge for them, going through the toughest firewalls, and talking on internet with their friends about it> Otherwise, they have normal lives, go to school or to work. Just a hobby, and plenty use it to help people or computer companies too. Mozilla asks hackers about the changes they would make to improve their sites and browsers.

If they are skilled hackers they are likely employed by some software company and they work as a programmer. There is no way you can be a hacker without having programming and technical skills.
It's a choice to use those skills for the common good of people
or to selfishly use them for purposes like money and criminal
activities. This is why programmers who aren't criminals have to constantly remind people the difference between "cracker"
and "hacker".

they dont have a life..duh... they also work with the government. everyone knows the government wants to screw up our computers. i mean they've already screwed up the world, why not computers?

Hackers are vandals that cause a lot lot lot of stress and economic loss to people and the entire world. There's should be a death penalty crime. they ruin many lives, cause a lot of unhappiness.
