No. I was told by a highly respected and reputable British psychiatrist that I have had too much therapy in the past in the USA, and that causes a person to over analyse their lives, and can be detrimental rather than helpful at times, for certain people.
It causes you to think you have problems when you don't have any really, and to focus on things as if they are problems to solve; rather than accepting them as part of life, and being yourself.
I agreed with that psychiatrist then, and I still do. I found I was much happier not going to therapy, but spending the time going to take courses, and taking my mind and focus off problems.

yes, we all do. Even people who say they don't. Therapy is healthy, depending of course the type therapy you go thru.It is healthy to get to know ourselves, to get to know the ones we live with. We can not depend on it forever, though. We can't be addicted to it. We all have problems, some more, some less. I went thru a lot in my life but to me, the best therapist ever is Christ and if we are open to His guidance and His love will be able to go thru life and able to take the ups and downs easily than those who don't believe God is powerful enough to change our lives and to solve our problems.
Thanks for asking.

the voices in my head tell me I do. Just kidding. I think that we all can use therapy to some degree. As a form of venting, or as a self healing. I am on anti-depressants so my problems are pretty minor compared to how they used to be.

no matter what I will never go to another therapist ever again, for years I was on meds and depressed all because of what these morons "thought" was wrong with me. IToday am med free, NOT confused and face life everyday good or bad, no more suicidal thoughts, self hate or doubt and most of all every little thing does not throw me and there is no the rapist to make me think I cannot handle my life

Yes, I think I need a good aroma therapy.

What do you suggest?
What kind of therapy can calm me down or to slow me down?
