When you are kids it's all about the presents but when you turn into a teenager it's more about spending time with family!

I love Christmas for the spirit. The gifts are nice but they should not be the main focus.
The spirit of Christmas is different to everyone. I love the lights, the smells, the foods you only have that one time of the year, volunteering for local charities to make someone else's holiday brighter when they might not have one otherwise, the music, everyone seeming a bit nicer 1 or 2 months out of the year, the comraderie of family and friends. I do admit there is something about the hustle and bustle of the holidays that it doesn't feel the same without it. But that is completely different from being focused on how many presents you're going to get.

Both.
It doesnt snow in Singapore so Orchard Road is the place where we walk through the breeze (weather is cooler during year end), admire the Christmas lighting that is put up throughout the whole stretch of Orchard Road and enjoy company of friends.
For the gifts because it show how much my friends understand what I would have love to receive. This sounds shallow, I know. But I do like the feeling of opening each gift after 12 midnight of Christmas Eve.

I love christmas because my family gets together no matter what is going on in our lives we all make sure we can make it to my parents house even if it's for 2-4 hours. I also love the light displays in the neighborhoods and at some beaches and parks,. I love the music it gives me a warm homely feeling. I love to decorate my house and cook with my husband and son. Christmas to me is all about togetherness not the gifts. Eventhough they are a nice touch, but as long as i have my family, a decorated house and a tree put up on December 2nd i am a happy camper.

I like Christmas not for the gifts I receive, but for the gifts I give. Christmas is so much more than receiving.

I like it for the gathering of family and all the happiness that seems to be floating in the air. I haven't gotten gifts in years, so that isn't really a factor for me.
