He could only get arrested if police saw or recorded the actual offer of an exchange of a sexual act for money. This is why police use undercover officers with recorders to tape either the prostitute or the john with them explicitly saying that it is sex for money.

It isn't illegal to be a prostitute. Being caught in the act of Prostitution is a Punishable crime. It isn't illegal to be a Pothead. Being caught with marijuana has severe penalties. One can "be" many things, until the crime is actually committed you have no Idea as to whether the person has actually committed a crime, or is just mouthing off.

Prostitution IS legal at the Federal level. The part about Haggard isn't new, the guy just didn't get his money, got angry and nark'ed him out.
Yes, he's admitting to a crime. How are you going to punish him? He's gay,, what do you thinks gonna happen in a male prison?

The bigger injustice is that Rev. Haggard bought illegal drugs (crystal meth) and that he paid for sex -- major hypocrisy, especially by a preacher who preaches against these "sins". He is the guilty party! Haggard knew full well what he was doing. Nobody forced him to do it.

Gay prostitutes are non existant. Nor do 'straight' ones exist either.Let me explain. A prostitute is PAID for sex. Straight guys can get paid to have sex with gay men and gay men can get paid to be gigolos to straight women.
Prostitution does not have a sexuality. Prostitutes have PRICE MARGINS, not PREFERENCES. Get me?
