Joke answer to make you smile: Sent.

Reality check: in one of those Reader's Digest reader-contribution columns (probably "Life in These United States"), a reader mentioned kicking around all sorts of grandiose and/or slightly weird names. Someone advised her that before she named the child one of these names, she should yell it out the back door several times; because that was the way she would hear it for the next ten years. (She gave her children conventional names.)

Alternative thought: keeping the heaven theme, you could name your child Angel, Angela, Angelica, etc. Or if your mind is set on Heaven, use it as a middle name. Kids don't generally learn each other's middle names until at least junior high school (with the exception of children who are called by both names, like all those Mary Kates and Mary Lous). By then, the impetus to tease kids about their names will be less; or at least hopefully your child will have developed more resistance to being teased than s/he will have had in grade school.

ok i have a few things to say 1st of all forget what people say about unique names i love them and my kids do too. When my oldest daughter started school she came home and thanked me for not naming her something normal she said she really didn't want to be just another "Sarah" or something.
2nd. Do not go with lee, Leigh or anything like that it is just wrong.
3rd if you are going to name your daughter Heaven be creative with her middle name.
I like Heaven Renee myself.

If you go to the "advanced search" here and type the meaning that you want into the search bar, and use the "this meaning" option, you'll get a list of names with that meaning and the countries that they're from. You can also search by the letter you want the middle name to start with.

Adele is German. It means "kind".
Acacia is Greek. It's a beautiful kind of thorny tree.
Astra is Greek. It means "from the stars"
Elia is an Italian variation of Elijah (Hebrew "the lord is my god")
Faye is French for "fairy or elf"

I think that Olivia is a beautiful middle name for Heaven, but it means "elf army", and that deters me, personally.

Rae.

Doesn't take the spotlight from the first name. And, sounds like "ray" - makes me think of those beautiful sunny days when the clouds are white and puffy, and you can see sunlight rays come down from them. It always makes us feel like Heaven is looking down at us.
