For Veterans' Day you traditionally display the American flag.

The yellow ribbon thing, from a Tony Orlando song about a guy returning from prison, is nice I guess, but more for the active duty troops who are coming home.

Also, a visit to a veteran's cemetery is a fine gesture of respect.

Of course, the finest thing you can do is write your US Representative and request more appropriations to care for the veterans who have been injured in the service.

I think a flag is most appropriate. i thought a yellow ribbon means bring them home. I would also include a prayer for all military personal alive or dead.

I know many veterans.....They love their country and their flag.
Fly your flag proudly on Veteran's day.
AND, it is America, decorate whenever you want to. Our Veterans fought for you to have that right.
