No, contacts don't hurt. They are slightly irritating when put in backwards, but that is easily fixed by taking them out and turning them the right way. Give them a try. Your eye doctor can recommend the best brand and will probably give you a free trial pair to try and see if they work for you. If you are clumsy, I would recommend disposable contacts though, so if you loose one, at least you have another pair to replace them with.

No contacts don't hurt at all. If they are in properly and clean, you can't even feel them. I would highly recommend them. If they are dirty, or in wrong, you will definitely know, because they will be uncomfortable.
Or you can do the laser eye surgery. That is the coolest thing I have ever done for myself!!! If you can afford it (financing available) I would skip the contacts and just go for the surgery. It is 100% painless, and you can see perfectly the next day!!!!!

As long as you have eye drops handy (in case they get dry) they don't hurt. I got mine but in by the eye doctor, then I took them out and put them back in to show her I knew how.
No pain what so ever. Try out a free pair from Aqueview.com (the prercription is the same as your eye glasses).
Oh and it is not recommended for people under 15 to wear contacts.

No, contacts do not hurt one little bit. They are meant to just glide over the mucus membrane surface of your eye without doing enything except improve your vision. Just make sure that thay are clean, that you replace them with new ones every so often, and that you add the special solution to the contacts to keep them in good repair. Good luck!

They do hurt if you put them on on the wrong part of your eyes. I wear hard contacts and i have done that before. I think that soft contacts will hurt less.
