A) to the person that said they hate people who worry about other people.....arent you worrying about me???
B) To every one who said they might want to get advise from other people....so your gonna let your childs well being and health rely on the internet??
If you got the net you got a phone you could atleast call the doctor and get some professional help

Yeah, I think that all the time. Once when I was on a person asked: "what do poisonous snakes in new jersey look like because I got bitten and I need to know if I should go to the hospital --" ?!? CALL 911!! Ask them!! You may be dying!!
I also hate: "My period came and I've taken 50 negative pregnancy tests and I've also been told by my doctor that I'm sterile -- so could I be pregnant?"

I'm sure that some of them are just being dumb... but there could be other reasons... Maybe they can't afford health insurance and they are hoping to fix the problem without having to pay. In my case, I live in a place where it's very difficult to see a doctor. There are only 4 doctors in my area, and none of them are taking new patients. It would take me two hours and $200 just to get to a doctor! Then it would take the same to get back home! I do hate when people ask stupid questions if they could be asking their doctors, but please keep in mind that not everyone has easy access to a doctor... When I was suffering from morning sickness I asked what I could do to help it and within minutes I immediately got all the answers I needed from this website. I'm feeling great now and I haven't puked in days! Doctors who haven't experienced morning sickness probably wouldn't have even had that answer for me. :)

I can afford insurance, have it and use it...if you check back I did ask a question concerning not my pregnancy, but my period after having a miscarriage and a D & C. I did go to my doctor, but sometimes it is just nice to have other people's opinions and to hear their experiences. But saying that, when I did start bleeding before my miscarriage, I did NOT waste my time online asking for advice. I called my dr and headed to the ER.

I'm now not one that assessments each query for thumbs down. I do, nevertheless, have a wee nosey at how my solutions are doing and get a wee bit miffed if I get any thumbs down, as I suppose that I have performed my very pleasant to deliver respectable recommendation and suppose that a few folks are simply out to "mess around" at the website and don't even learn what has been published!!!

It's not that there lazy...its just some people want to know what others think...and they cant afford to go to the doctor or maybe they just cant get into the doctor....you know the im pregnant and im bleeding...it could be a first time mom...sometiems you bleed and how would she know if she doesnt ask if its normal or not? "my kids running a high fever and hes vomiting" okay the stomach virus is going around she seeing if anyone else has to deal with this...if you just answer get your two points it's all good...It's the parenting and pregnancy questionair you can ask whatever you want that pretains to that....

Thank you for putting this out there, I couldn't agree more. If I was pregnant and something didn't seem right this is the last place I would be asking questions.

well, while thats true, the point of answers is to be able to ask a wide variety of poeple about things. i don't think anyone is actually critical if they're asking about is online. its usually minor things. i've never seen someone say "oh, i've been shot, what should i do?". the questions i've seen pertaining to health are always non life threatning.

No, I think they do know what to do. I just think in some cases docs arent to much of a people person, and sometimes after people get the med. advice, its nice to hear the everyday persons experience, so they know they arent the only ones going through something. get a heart! Are u a cold person?

If I don't like a question I don't answer it I don't get all crazy and ask if other people hate them to. Why do people worry about about what other people do or ask?
