I downloaded the new Internet Explorer and installed it this morning. Had problems opening websites I usually go to. I know it is because of the new version because I can still open them with Firefox.

I tried system restore to go back. It failed and I am stuck with the new version. Should I unistall the new version? How do I get the old version back? Thanks.

I had to system restore a month back after it failed doing this system restore for a day.

You could go to control panel Add/Remove Programs - and remove Internet Explorer that was added on the exact date you downloaded it.

Go to Add/remove program, check on "show update" on top of the window. You can uninstall the particular update which you didn't need.

go to the start menu, find where it says "control panel", click on tht. then a window appears w/ a hole bunch of icons. find the one tht says "add or remove programs" and then click on it. then another window pops up with every program tht u have installed on your comp. right now. find the ie7 one and click once on it. then a button comes up next to it tht says "change/remove" click on tht and then follow the buttons then on. <3
