There was this movie from either the 60s, 70s, or 80s, (I think it was the 80s) that had a little boy, whose dad was a pilot, and a little girl who lived on the same block. The girl had blond hair and was really cute. They had an older friend who was a computer expert. Who knows the name of the movie? Oh..and at the end of the movie I think the dad's airplane crashes or something..

Cloak and Dagger was the film

Henry Thomas was the kid, Dabney Coleman was the dad and the kid's imaginary friend "Jack Flack".
It wasn't the dad's plane that crashed, though. It was a hijacked jet liner. The kid and his dad get out in time, right before the bomb goes off.

Great movie. Very '80's.
