I saw this movie around 6 yrs ago. I don't remember a whole lot about it, but it was about this dog (Dolberman Pincher) that follows this little girl home, I think she lived with her dad (no mom) and she tries to keep this dog but they move out of state and leave the dog behind. The dog tracks this little girl from city to city and finds her. Thats about all I remember. I had never herd of this movie prior to seeing it on t.v. and have not seen it since. thanks for the help

It's "Eyes of an Angel", starring John Travolta.

The movie you are referring to is called "Eyes of An Angel" (1991) and John Travolta did play the Dad in that film.
He was raising his daughter and they were having hard times. The Dad got in trouble so they moved from Chicago to Los Angeles and the doberman that the little girl took care of followed them across country and ultimately saves them from the bad guys.
It was a heart-touching story and it's out on DVD now.

i think it has John Travolta in it....he's the dad. and the dog is a reject from a fighting ring..apperently he lost and they tried to kill him or something....the dad gets in deep with some bad guys who come after him and the dog saves them i think..its been a long time since ive seen it...hope i was talking about the right one
