Think about it, **there is no such thing as a free lunch,** meaning there is always a catch to get you to spend your hard earned money.
It normally means you have to spend big big money on another item, then they will give you a laptop for free!! BUT you are paying for it via the items you are buying anyway NO ONE GIVES AWAY LAP TOPS FOR FREE....cheers... ;-)

Read the fine print, it'll say after you've completed the entire process, been authorized and then the sponsor will have additional rules so, after about 6 months of payments, interest and your time (and haven't either forgotten or lost interest) you will then receive a voucher which you'll then have to fill out and mail, follow up with additional e-mails and finally! receive your very basic laptop that is worth only half the time and money you already spent for 8 months ago . . . . Good Luck.

I did one of those, like a fool a couple years ago, ended up spending a lot of money for crap I didn't need or want, and no laptop, had to change my email address, cause of all the spam. Still waiting on my free laptop.

I think the forms that one has to fill in the process is so frustrating and that at least I gave up.
The after effect was that my junk mail increased manifold.
