I used to like him but I was way to obvious and now he ignores me. I don't like him anymore but i just want to be his friend.

You dont. Why would you want to be friends with a person who completely ignores you anyway? Where would that friendship go if it started out with one party unwilling to be friends in the first place?
Friendship comes naturally...you should never try to make anyone your friend and you should never have to try....
Just go along your merry way--if he doesnt talk to you its his loss, not yours

Try picking up a conversation with him. If you don't know what to say thing of Shows on TV, sports, You know those types of things. If the conversation doesn't last then forget him.

Go up to him and talk to him. Tell him that you just want to be friends and not to worry cuz you dont like him any more.
