A gold Glove is voted on by sportswriters of America to each of the best fielding (Defense) players at each position which is 9 in each league. There are 2 leagues the National and American. The MVP is also voted on by the media for the best Individual player in each league.

The MVP Award goes to not just the best all around player, but can also be awarded to who may have the most influential to their team.
