Or is that the sales girls job?

2006-11-03 12:07:55 · update #1

I have a hard time finding the right size for my daughter, so always have to take 2 sizes of everything in the room. Thats a lot of clothes to be putting back neatly on the hangers. I am there to shop, what is the sales girl there for?

I have never left them in a heap on the floor and always return them to the sales girls.

A lot of you need to lighten up a little. Its just a question.

Once I've tried them on in the dressing room, I put them back on the individual hangers and then give them back to the dressing room attendent. Unless the store specifies it, it's rude to leave the clothes in the dressing room or to put them back where you found them. Leave them with a sales associate in the dressing room.

place them on the hangers, it is not the sales person's problem that you weren't shown manners.

*when I say "you" I mean people in general that just leave their clothes on the ground in the dressing rooms. Those people are lazy and slow down the "trying on" process that we all know is time consuming.

yes, i put them back on the hangers, then on the rack they provide to return it to it's original spot. retail people, especially now, before the holidays..are over worked! my DD works in retail as a second job..she says people can be real pigs..leaving the clothes on the floor...so do everyone a favor, and hang them back up, especially for the next person waiting in line to try something on...

I do most of the time. But sometimes I get so mad when I try on clothes, I'll leave them in the dressing room. I know thats mean, I work in retail, and I hate when other do it.

I normally fold them quickly over my arm and bring the hangers and clothes to the employee on duty. I think it is better because they can make it exactly how they want it the first time rather than taking it off the hanger and redoing it.

On my side of the universe, no need to. There's a rack facing the changing rooms, so un-wanted clothes are left there

YES, PLACE THEM ON THE HANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is incredibly RUDE to leave them in a heap on the floor. the sales people are NOT your slaves or your mother and it is rather rude to think that they get paid enough to put the clothes you aren't buying onto hangers. plus, it isn't like they are bored or anything. retail is always busy & there is never enough time in the day.

no, i don't get paid ENOUGH to pick up after people like that.

it is so rude to leave things on the floor. it is saying, i am lazy and think i am so superior that i can do whatever i want. in reality, they aren't and i probably have more money than they do... and i am in college & work really hard to get myself through to the next level of my life.

so, be KIND... hand up your ****.

There is usually a rack right outside the dressing room for clothes that you don't want. And although I bet it is annoying for the sales girl, they are getting paid for it, aren't they?

why wouldn't you place them back on the hangers? unless your parents never taught you manners, try to clean the dressing room up, and take the clothes back out to the bar outside the room. salespeople have enough crap to do, they're not slaves, and you'll be treated nicer. if it's a small store or boutique, trust me, you'll be remembered (bad or good).
