Am a chef ... and chefs should not wear any metal in their fingers ... for the food hygine purpose .... actually I was cooking at one of the Gordon Ramsay Restaurants in London a few months ago ... Did you see him on television such as Hell's Kitchen? ...

Not all mean wear one, maybe his wife didn't bother buying one for him when they got married or maybe he has blood pressure and his hands swell because of it and his ring gets too tight for him, maybe he just doesn't want to wear one.
