me and my sister wrote a whole series of pleseases shaped in the letters" please please please can we meet bros" i'm soooooooooooooo ashamed but if it was now i'd ask if he could pay my rent arrears and get our family of 4 out of this 1 bedroom top floor flat and into something more suitable with a bit more space

i did'nt write to him but the girl who wanted simon le'bon to pick her up on a white charger dressed as a knight must be cringing at the thought of it every waking night. but if i were to write i would ask for a go on a wrecking ball and a building.

HaHa! That's a good question. I never wrote in but my brother did, and surprise surprise, he never heard a thing. I had a theory they got all the kids from drama school as a sort of training ground for them, but that's just the cynic in me.

Back in 1978, I asked Jim if I could meet Superman (Christopher Reeve as he was then). Now, I'd have to kill myself to meet him as he's dead.
