It is not wrong to love animals; nor is it wrong to not love them although I personally cannot understand not loving them. Animals are extremely loveable, noble and admirable.I believe that many of them are spiritually evolved.... and all are worthy of our respect, kind treatment, and consideration at the very least. We may learn some day that some are worthy of our worship even. I think it is lamentable that humanity justifies its excessive carnivorous meat-eating habits with Nature: "Humans are carnivores, end of story" I disagree. Leonardo Da Vinci speculated that by the fifteenth century, all of humanity would have evolved and would unanimously be vegetarians. He overestimated our spiritual and actual evolution obviously. I think it is absolutely horrid that humans EAT as many animals as we do. If vegetarianism is too extreme, I think all of us would do well to eat less meat. Far less meat. It is unhealthful in large quanities and it is murder. Hindis believe that when we eat an animal, we also eat the 'karma' of its butchery. Food for thought, huh?
Keep loving animals.... you are a compassionate, evolved, natural human being. I hope your brother will stop teasing you. I am sure your animals agree that it is your brother who is being 'stupid' in this case as I am sure he will someday learn.

definitely not! to love animals shows a sensitivyt for God's
other creatures, they feel pain,hunger,fear, much like us
humans, so loving an animal is the right to do. I have a
terrible fear of snakes, but I would never intentionally hurt
it or abuse it,I'd just as soon leave it alone, to me animal
abuse is right up there with people abuse. I think your
brother's are just teasing their sister,don't let it get to u.

A lot of people love animals like me. I love pigs and i became vegatarian last year. You just stand up to your brother. Some people in this world just don't understand.

All living beings are capable of love. I have brothers and sisters and sometimes I loved our dog more than them, especially when they made me mad.

Not at all. I, myself LOVE animals.
I really LOVE killer whales, bunnies, turtles, dogs and koalas. And kangaroos.
