What is your personal definition of enlightened, and what do you consider to be valid and invalid examples of enlightenment?

my personal defintion ties into the serenity prayer.
"grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can and the wisdom to know the difference" to me that's enlightenment. Knowing yourself well enough to know your limits as well as how far you can push them.
An invalid example of enlightenment to me is encompassed by certain religious groups who claim superiority and break their own religious rules trying to prove it.
Valid enlightenment hmm, I'm not sure if i can give an example of that because i'm not sure i've witnessed it first hand

A three year old that knows its full name is enlightened. One who says "I am a born again Christian,Christ dwell in me". "I am still a sinner". Each of these quotes is a valid example of enlightment but if spoken at the same time by the same person. one of them is an invalid example.

An enlightened person knows past, present and future.He has found God and happy in the finding.
Valid examples are sages like late sri chandra sekharendra saraswati of Kanchi
Sage Ramana of tiruvannamalai in india
Maata amritanandamayi of kerala etc
Invalid examples are rest of the humanity

I believe to be enlightened means to have achieved an advanced state of understanding, knowledge and wisdom as well as attaining a high level of personal well being in ones body, mind and soul, complete self control, and the ability to, as well as the actual practice of, living up to ones own high standards of personal conduct and striving for, after seeking out and discovering, what one personally believes is most impotent.

Hard to define but I know that enlightenment does not come from religion. that's called brain washing. Religions were manufactured to control people and they've done a marvelous job too.
