I like to wait too many people on the first weekend

Only if they are 'Blockbusters' .. or movies I have long awaited (I am thinking of 'Lord of the Rings'). I try to see them matinee of the first day! Have only done it a few times but it was fun :)

Normally, I wait til at least 2 weeks after but lately my friends and I have been going opening weekend and it's really fun. It's just something about watching a movie with a big crowd and listening to everyone laugh and "oo" and "aw" that just makes the movie all the better. It is kinda fun with a smaller crowd as well.
I love X3 too island princess but i couldn't make it to the early shows on that one. Actually that was like one of the deadest crowds ever cuz i went like a month after it came out in theatres. I wuz just thinking about that too and my brother just started watching that on On Demand just now. . . How Weird?! this is the second time that has happened to me today!

well it depends, if it's a movie I really want to see then I go see it on opening weekend. But if it's just a movie I think might be good then I wait for like the 2nd or 3rd weekend its out to go see. Another way to beat the crowds is to go on a weekday!!

If it's something I can't wait for like when X3 came out, then yes I go on opening morning so it won't be a lot of people. But if it's something I can wait for i.e Employee of the Month, then I'll wait even though I REALLY want to see this movie.

I usually go the 2nd or 3rd. Can't stand watching a film in a crowded and noisy theatre. A couple of weeks most likely weeds out the riff raff that just likes to kibitz instead of watch.

No, I have three kids and it's almost impossible to see a new release. I do like to see Academy Award nominated films before the Oscars, because, I love to see what all the hype is about.

yea i usually wait until the second day it comes out or if not ill wait and go see it the second weekend after it comes out

i definitely wait a couple of weeks because of the crowds or i wait for them to go on dvd cuz its cheaper

i'm a poor college student so I wait till I go home and my aunt rents the dvds, but i'm going to start doing dollar movies, they're even cheaper than dvd's and i can see them sooner.
