Your trojan won't have come from IE7 or the toolbar but some other source. Be wary of the previous answer. No browser is perfect and that includes Firefox.

You could try using this virus scanner, which should find your trojan and disinfect your system. F-Secure, who offer this scanner, are a well respected online security company.

If this doesn't work try free online scanners from Trend, McAfee and alike.

To stop yourself getting infected again, once you have removed your virus, I suggest you use install this excellent free anti-virus software on your computer. I have used this for years and it has always served me well

I'd also make sure you have a Firewall on your computer which will provide another layer of protection from hackers. Zone Alarm is widely used.

Finally get a decent spyware scanner. Yahoo! toolbar comes with a anti-spyware scanner and Microsoft also has a decent free anti-spyware scanner

Hope this helps and good luck!

If IE is your basically browser, you does no longer have any way of downloading a sparkling replica. The Trojan is residing on your computing device in a separate record and the probability is that deleting IE does no longer get rid of it. once you load up your new replica of IE, it would grow to be contaminated and the registry might exchange.

It probably did'nt come with IE7,but you can uninstall it and reinstall it after you do a full virus scan.

Give up using Windows, and install Linux on your computer. Linux is immune to all viruses, malware, spyware and adware.

Go to www.distrowatch.com to find out how to get all the popular flavors of Linux...

...then do an image search for Linux screen grabs on Google.

BE COOL - GET LINUX
