x-box games,can i play them on a 360 xbox?

i got an ex box (mother board fried) so can i play my games for my normal xbox on a 360

Only certain games can be played on the Xbox 360.Some games like fishing can only be played on normal Xbox

in my and my friend's experiences there are no problems playing regualr games on 360 (except for sometimes there is graphics lag) as long as you have a hard drive.
