Although the previous answers are correct, the commercial is completely computer generated, there are things called vinyls that produce similar results. Vinyls are like very high quality stickers, and application is a bit more complicated then just sticking them on. Hope that answers your question.

Check out scionlife.com, but seriously, don't try to make your car look cool until you beef up the engine. I was pushing 258 hp and 301 lbs of torque in my scion, but i recently traded it for a 1964 redone Cadillac! Trust me, when you can blow a mustang off the line like it doesn't exist, then you can put on your stickers.

most of the commercial is 3d, but the real car has vinyles which is another word for big stickers, or they could be painted on

its called vinyls. Vinyls are the stickers u see. very hard to remove. others are customed by 5 axis.
