It's a comfort thing. We're no longer courting. When people are dating, they don't see each other often, she when they are together, they both look thier best. Once you get serious, you see each other more often, the realtionship is more secure, so you're not so worried about "scaring" tham away, from accidentally not putind deoderant on or her not shaving her legs every day. My wife and I are past that "dating" phase, we're in the newly wed phase, now. Plus, she's my best friend. We fart, burp, pick our noses in front of each other. It's not worth hiding human nature from each other. People are still quite jealous of us, because of how well we treat each other so respectfully. I think our lovey dovey wedded bliss is a lot better than being like we're dating. We don't have to watch our P's and Q's anymore, we're more free to be ourselves. We have lots of fun with each other, even though we're not dating anymore. Just because someone get's married doesn't mean the fun stops, I have more fun now than I did when we were dating. She makes me laugh, she makes me sad, she makes me happy, she makes me cry, she also makes delicious meals, she's a great cook. But I wouldn't change any of it for anything in the world. I'll take the bad because the good is so much more often and so awsome.

Great question! You have to treat each other that way. It's the only way to keep the relationship fresh. Really, it all comes down to respect and not taking each other for granted. Too many married couples end up treating each other worse than they would treat a total stranger. Remember: If you don't pay attention to your spouse, someone else will...

I try but he stopped about 8 years of marriage. Now we don't even hardly talk and have no well extra marital activities if you know what I mean. So I'm a very lonely sad bored person. Don't stop treating your loved one the way you did when you were dating just cause you are married or going through a rough time it's not fair to the other person.

Of course we do!!! My husband and I never stop treating each other like we are just starting dating. It is very healthy for relationship to treat each other with passion, flirtation, and romance. My husband never get tired of telling me how beautiful I am and I never get tired of letting him know how I’m so much in love with him like a kid out of school. We work out in a gym together, read books at the same time, emailing each other with kisses, go in the movies, and go dancing with our friends once in a while. I just LOVE flirting with my husband!!!! =)

I think a lot of people forgetting the important of having significant other by your side. I don’t believe that just because I couple got married, that doesn’t mean romance should stopped. In the contrary, it should bring them closer together. After all, that is what a marriage is all about, have fun with each other, enjoy each other, and ENJOY LIFE TOGETHER AS ONE!!!!!

SMILE!!!!... =)

My spouse and I have a ongoing scheduled date. We met every Friday afternoon for lunch. We've been doing this for 2 years. So, yes we still date while married.

Even though we don't treat each other like we're dating, I'm happy to say that now we are better than then. We feel more supported, and we trust each other more. So we enjoy more, because we are more comfortable (we've been married for 11 years now)
