i do not think so,I hope we learned our lesson from back in 1860-1864. there were more soldiers killed in it,than all the other wars combined. at least up yo Viet Nam .

No, I don't. However, there have been times that I have wondered about a possible civil war over the abortion/right to life issue. It is easily as important as slavery was in the 1860's; however, that war wasn't about slavery so much as it was the states' rights to choose individually whether to allow slavery (and the fact that those guys couldn't iron things out in Congress). I don't think it's right for people to assassinate doctors who perform abortions, nor to blow up clinics that offer these services. This issue, or any other, needs to be resolved in the US Congress.
I remember when it seemed a civil war was a possibility. Thankfully, the law cracked down on the extremists. (It's too bad that "the law" also trampled peaceful protesters....)
FYI - I don't think slavery is right either. Those 1860's folks should have thought for themselves instead of following the status quo or becoming "lordly" over other human beings. Ditto for modern countries that allow/endorse slavery.

Those two words together are a complete contradiction, what is so civil about war? And No I don't think an OFFICIAL civil war will ever break out again. But a civil war is being fought on the streets every day.

God, I hope not!!
But with all the "red states" and "blue states"....it looks like its a possibility. There is a larger gap now with liberals and conservatives....and I don't see it getting any better.

No. We are too smart for that. If we want to blow things up, we can blow up another country.
