Well you can take your tempature and on the days it's higher is the days you ovulate or you can buy over the counter test or you can count 12-18 days from the first day of your period these are the days you will ovulate somewhere in here. So for you this month it would be October 24th-30 and if you have your period every 28 days that means you would ovulate somewhere between Novenber 21st and 27th. YOu can continue this each month.

I had a friend ask me the same thing last month, the first day of her AF. So I told her to count 10 days just to be safe from the first day of her period and BD every other day until about the 16th day. Lucky her she got pregnant instantly. I on the other hand have been going to www.mymonthlycycles.com for a year and it has helped tremendously-still no baby but I understand my body better. They say that your CM will be eggy and stringy but everytime I checked when I thought I was ovulating it was never eggy. I have tried OPK's and they never came out bright enough pink for me to think I was ovulating (having a 28 day cycle for 10 years made me assume I ovulated on or around the 14th day). I just found out this month I ovulate the week after my AF...WEIRD! All women are different!

If your periods are regular, I'd suggest that you buy an ovulation kit. If you're irregular, an ovulation kit wouldn't do you any good. I'm highly irregular and when my doctor told me to buy a kit, I was getting false positives. There are other ways. You can also measure your basal body temperature. Check all the sites everyone suggested.
Good luck!

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.
