Go watch another, then you'll forget the first one!!! ☺

The more you watch then the more you'll laugh at them. I do!! I have a great time with scary movies! They rock!!

I usually forget a scary movie by right after it I watch a funny movie and that helps all the time.

Remind yourself that the image you saw, was created by a set designer, a costume designer, an actor, a lighting director and eventually made it onto film because of a cinematographer or DP. Just picture a guy, sitting behind a camera, eye pressed against the viewfinder and someone yelling "action!"

The best way to demystify a movie is to visualize the crew all standing around, scrubbing, hoping they'll wrap soon and be able to go home.

It is all make- believe stories that we see in the movies. Think of the real people who acted in reality in those scenes and how long it would have taken for the filmmakers to shoot such scary scenes that came to your mind. In real life, scary experiences to people happen in a fraction of minute or a few moments and those experience them really forget sooner than us who broods on or watches such scenes on the screen. It is in the nature of humans to get some adrenaline flowing to be scared and that is for fun to us sometimes to be scared like that knowing fully well subconsciously that nothing happens to us actually and why should we not indulge in such thrills of being scared for fun. So resist fantasizing in scary stuff. It is one of the unwanted habits or indulgences.

Roller coasters. Its hard to remember a scary movie when you are screaming your head off at a bazillion miles an hour going through the riddler or another such ride.

If you focus too hard on forgetting it, you will find it harder to forget. Balance is hard in life, but its a key.

watch a hundred hours of teletubbies, go to a therapy session or something, buy tons of stuffed animals and vainlla candles which premote happy thoughts, dont watch anymore scary movies, think of it as a joke, eat lots of pizza get sick pass out and have a dreamless sleep, keep busy, never be home alone, dont turn ur lights off, dont think about it as much or think about it so much it gets boring, join a sports team, start a hobby, get a bf, watch a comedy, or a chickflick, call ur best friend and talk to her for hours and hours and hours, eat fudge its a happy food, smash a plate, get a pedicure and a manicure, keep urself armed with a army knife everywhere u go in case something jumps out at u which i highly doubt will happen, keep one of those boat horn thingies in a can, that way if anything does jump out at u u just whip it out, press down the button and instant deafness and shock... i dunno, i get that kinda think from scary movies too, but it goes away after a hilwe, i once saw a preveiw for cannible and it haunted my dreams for 1 yr, but then i went to a therapy session and it cleared up within a week. the movie grudge gave me tons of bad dreams, but i went to a party and saw a pinyata that looked alot like that blue skinned chinese kid that kills everyone and i beat the **** out of it with my brothers baseball bat and got a **** load of reese's peices. heeehee, good luck with the bad dreams, im srry. hope my advice helps a bit. oh and another one that works, theres a movie that just came out, its a little disturbing but tons funny, called nacho libra, its really hilarious and it makes u forget bad stuff kinda.

This may sound silly, but repeat a non-threatening word over and over in your head as you try to fall asleep. My word is Barbiedoll. If I get scared like that over a movie, I just repeat it over and over until I fall asleep. Imposible to still be afraid. Just pick a word that works for you!

next time that happens, picture everyone and every monster or whatever scared you, in their underware and a blond curly wig and high heels. It takes some of the scare out of it and soon that is what you will see.
